HBR 5008, ex-BN 7285, and HBR 5009 shove sand hoppers back and forth beneath the dramatic plumes of steam at the Wedron Silica Plant on a cold December night.

The Rail Net slowly heads west through Montgomery, with its trio of fun, EMD power.

In gorgeous evening sunshine, the Rail Net passes through Yorkville, passing the station sign and BN caboose in town.

The Rail Net turn is on the approach to home rails, in Montgomery, as it is enroute back to Ottawa.

Illinois Railway's Job 107 heads east across the Fox River, passing through Sheridan, on its way to the BNSF's Eola Yard.

The HBRY twins split a ex-SP SD45T-2 as they lead the Eola Job under the new and old signals at Montgomery. The old signal bridge is now completely demolished.

Hudson Bay Railway 5009 arrives at Wedron with the Job 107. The crew would have some work to do, before parking the train just outside of the sand plant, for another crew to advance to Ottawa.

Job 107 slowly rolls through town, headed for Wedron and at some point in the day, Ottawa.

With a foam party at the pedestrian crossing our party of two gets the shot going through town against the Oswego sign. The hurry up and wait game has begun.
